Weather - Dry, warm and muggy (but bloody freezing at the end !)
                                Pitch -
very firm

The guys bounced back from Tuesday's disappointment against Cambrian & Clydach with an excellent performance against high flying Bryntirion Athletic. A goal after 10 minutes from Dan McGrath was followed up by substitute Chris Allen 5 minutes before the break. Ponty had the better of the second half action, creating chance after chance but in the end ran out 2-0 winners to do the double over high flying Bryntirion.

It was a strong performance especially from Jon Coates, Steve Cox and the returning Gary Taylor who proved very influential in the middle of the park. The win was missed by Manager Steve Price who was stuck in a far off land due to the Icelandic Ash Cloud. He would have been proud of the lads who battled on a hard pitch to another quality performance against a top of the table outfit to prove that Ponty are a match for any of the current table toppers.
