Annual Awards Presentation Evening
Season 2008/2009
Saturday 23rd May 2009 - The Clubhouse

Its been a good year for the club with the 1st team finishing eighth in Division 1 and the Reserve team again finishing runners up in Reserve Division West as well as reaching the semi-final of the Reserve Cup. The U19's promised great things during the early part of the season after some impressive displays but had to be content with 4th place in the MacWhirter Youth Division West. The U18's struggled to field teams during some weeks and this was obviously reflected in their final league position.

The night saw good representation of players with copious amounts of drinking.

This year there was an additional award for the Reserve Team and U19 Youth with a "Goal of the Season" selection being voted on during the evening. The main awards were as in previous years ie:

  1. The Players player of the year,

  2. The Managers player of the year

Also, look out for the speeches - Phil Lancey for the Reserve Team and Steve Price for the 1st Team
