The U18 Youth entertained Bridgend Town Juniors at the Recreation Ground on Sunday 22nd February 2009. This was a very good game played in a great spirit by both sides. In addition the referee, Jeff Bailey, kept the game going through great use of the advantage rule. Pontardawe took the lead early in the second half with a goal from Tom Maimone which was closely followed with a tap in from substitute Rhys Palmer. Bridgend were rewarded for their efforts with two goals from right back Matthew Forward whose late equaliser was scored in the 90th minute. Watch highlights of the goals and other match action here.
